How long do you need to stay off of driveway?
Driveway will be ready for use within 36-48 hours.
What can be done for cracks?
Sealant fills most small cracks. If cracks are larger than 1/2 inch wide, we can apply pourable crack filler at the customer's request for an additional charge. Any extra protection from the elements will extend the life of the driveway.
Will filling cracks make them go away?
No. Once cracks form they are permanent until the driveway is repaved. Filling them just helps slow their growth and deterioration of the driveway.
Will cracks be flush with drive after sealing?
Sometimes, but not always depending on the depth of the crack.
What is the difference between sealcoating and re-surfacing/paving?
Resurfacing the driveway needs to be done by a paving contractor and is actually putting on a new layer of asphalt. Sealcoating is a protective coating applied to the existing surface of the driveway.
If sealer gets on grass, will it kill it?
No. It will grow out and be gone after 1-2 cuts.
